History:
Lissa comes from a long line of purebred FoxDemons. Her family lived in a small tribe in a different dimension. She was one of the many, many, MANY children of the FoxDemon Chief's concubine's children. Her mother was the 8th and final Concubine, making Lissa the youngest. She was young but she had excelled in firedancing. A tradition held for special occasions or in giving thanks. She loved to dance when she was younger. Lissa was the one who would dance for the chief's honored guests, at festivals with her brothers, and his death were all his concubines and his wife burned. They would celebrate a death as a form of giving away a life for the tribe to make another. The more the people died off and were burned the more days they danced. (1 death per dance.) Each dance was different. One was a slow and very sad dance. (Death dance) Another was a dance which had two dancers were their bodies moved as one. (Mating/Marriage dance) The other was a fast dance with involved skill, and footwork, many different twists, turns, a playful tune as well. (Welcoming or entertaining dance.) The last was a very soft and graceful dance which involved balance, light jumps, slow turns, and ends in a grateful bow. (giving thanks) Lissa might have been good at dancing, but was horrid at controlling her instinct with was a crucial skill the tribe needed to survive. When she was 10, at the age where all members of the tribe should be ready for their tranformation, something had gone wrong. Lissa snapped. Her instinct overwhelmed, maddened her. She went wild in a bloodlusted state and attacked her tribe members. When she was in control again she woke up to a blood bath. Her fingers were stained in blood, her tongue tasted the fresh blood of her kinsmen and blood covered her. There wasn't a scratch on her. But there were open corpses mothers and their children and burly warriors which had gapping wounds on there necks. Clumps of flesh was spread across the land. The tents were aflame, buildings covered in blood. Lissa was horrifed by what she had done, she couldn't believe she had killed her own tribe... Hadn't the warriors and villagers tried to defend themselves? She couldn't have been that powerful... Could she? She then heard a soldier groan in pain. She ran to him and begged him to live, to tell her what had gone wrong, to tell her this was just another nightmare that had plagued her throughout her years. The man's face went pale, she pushed her away. Fear screamed out in his eyes. She shouted out at her, "Get away! Murderer! You killed your own tribe! Stay away from me!" Behind the fear and the hatred toward her was her older brother, which was Chief since his father had died. He was her best friend, and future mate. Her heart was thoroughly crusted and broken. Tears flooded her eyes and pooled down her cheeks. She ran away, threw the forest and into a small cave only she knew. She hide there for days. She had danced for days on end, for the loved ones she had killed. She went back and burried the dead. Their white, horrified face burned into her brain. Lissa then did what her ansestors did thousands of years ago. She had changed dimensions. She refused to turn back, to remember. But her nightmares would never give her such a blessing. They plagued her, as they did before.
